JFM roadshow in Eastern Cape 2022

Justice For Miners visited Bizana, Matatiele, Elliotdale and Lusiskisi to inform ex-miners and their dependents on the work of JFM and the right to compensation. These sessions were followed by questions and assistance for the potential claimants to apply for compensation. Many claimants needed information on both applying for compensation and those who have applied needed information on the process and reasons for rejection. Many claimants who had applied for compensation had not heard from the Tshiamiso Trust and did not understand or were unable to access the Tshiamiso Website or were not assisted by the call centre.
